Start Here:
The Wild Berries
For the wild Blue Berries, mix prussian with indigo.
Challenge: When you paint the berries, leave a white highlight on each berry by painting them from the edges inward.
The Wild Blue Lupine Flowers, Part 1Move a bit of prussian to the side of your page, then mix with water until even. Lightly paint the blue lupine on the wings with this diluted blue.
If you want a slight violet tint, add a touch of pink to your mixture. Keep light!
The Wild Blue Lupine Flowers, Part 2
NEXT, use INDIGO to darken the bottom of each lupine petal.
The Evening Primrose Flowers
Using ULTRA PINK, paint the edges of the evening primrose flowers.
Challenge: Try to add thin pink lines from the center of the flower outward on each petal.
The Golden Poppies, Part 1With GAMBOUGE, fill in one entire poppy, including the stamens in the center.
Add Mars Orange around the stamen. If it's still wet, the colors should blend. If not, flick your brush outwards to create contour lines.
The Golden Poppies, Part 2Paint the remaining poppies one at a time. After they are dry, add another layer of Mars Orange to the stamen for more contrast.
All the Stems and LeavesThe leaves are straightforward, just fill them all in with OLIVE. To make the tips of the lupine flowers brighter, mix gambouge with the olive green.
